A, To recognize ACR(ACE)
ACR belong to acyylic ester polymer it is made of MMA(methyl methacrylate) with graft polymer
of sorts of acrylic ester.
ACR-201 is made of MMA and EA(ethyl acrylate), ACR-301 is made of MMAA,EA,and BA(butyl acrylate),ACR-401 is made of MMA,BA,BMA(butyl methacrylate) and EMA(ethyl methacrylate).So ,
they all have the structure of nucleus -shell.
B,  The Function of ACR(ACE) in PVC processing.
There are 1~ 5 phr auxiliary material should be added in PVVC processing.ACR is one sort of auxiliary material in use,it is widely used for common way in PVC processing.such as extrusion,injection,blow,vacuum and calenderin.
PVC resin hase ordinary properties which the thermal stabiliity and plasticization can be poor and its melt fracture can be cause easy,but ACR can improve it to get good plasticizatiooon,a decrease in processing temperature and resistance to melt fracture.Then the PVC products would be in good quality and suface lustre.In a word ACR hasfollowing functions:
a,  To improve plasticizating in PVC processiong and improve the flowability.
b, TO improve rheological behavior at thermoplastic state and raise melt strength avoiding fracture so that the quality and suface lastre of PVC products can improved.
c, TO get processing stability in a long time.
d, To prevent pressure fluctuat,flow scar and filiform stripe due to extrusion and injection shaping.
e, To promote foma hold uniformity and fineness.
f,  TO promote uniformity for quality of PVC produts such as outward lustre,tensile,strength,impact,strength and rate of elongation at break etc.
C,  The development of ACR.
It can be tried importing some active monomers into ACR to improve the functiong of ACR in PVC processing.
At the same time,impact resistance and other comprehensive property would be raise for PVC products.
