Presently,Nanometer
Plastic has become a popular point in the plastic science
and technolohy.It has interested many enterprises in plastic
industry,some enterprises have put their production in the
name of Nanometerso that to raise their level
and fame even they have no conception of nanometer.
Nanometer material subject is absolutely
a new science risen in recent years,it involves multidomains
of knowledge such as aggregation physics,chemistry,material,and
biology etc.This article will only introduce some general
knowledge for nanometer plastic.
Firstly we should understand nanometer,then
nanometer technique and nanometer plastic last. Nanometer
is a unit of length as a standard of measurement,its dimension
is 10-9 meter.
Generally nanometer material means
that the dimension of a phase between two phases in the microstructure
must be nanometer level.Nanometer granule has a very small
diameter ,its surface energy is very strong and it becomes
aggregate very easy.so this is a very complex technical problem
to get nanometer granule.Presently the nanometer granule which
can be made and used is inorganic nanometer gronule mostly.The
nanometer granules which can modify plastic effectively are
Sio2 , Tio2,Caco3 and montmorillonite
(MMT)etc.
The core contents of nanometer technique
is that how can solve a problem for its aggregate . It is
very difficult to get single and dispersive nanometer granule
as it is aggregated of itself very easy and the key of the
nanometer technique is to disperse and homogenize the nonometer
granule to a matrix.There are two ways that can industrialize
nanometer material according to the report of application
and research for nanometer technique.One is the bedded insertion
technique, that means to make the base granule which has certain
solid density and equal size with n-MMT processed by bedded
insertion , then mix and granulate it so that can solve the
problem which nanometer material is not homogeneous to disperse
and get compound nanometer material;Two is to use vibratory
mill dispersion to homogenize nanometer material in matrix,its
aggregat is not formed in main and the dispersion is in nanometer
level.
Nanometer plastic means that the matrix
must be macromolecular polymer.Nanometer plastic has been
improved for heat resistance,climate proof and abrasion resistance
by the way that nanometer granule is dispersed in plastic
resin fully . Nanometer plastic can get the rigidity and heat
resistance that it is like ceramics and also has original
property of plastic as tenacity and high impact resistance
. Now NPE¡¢NPET¡¢and NPA6 modified by nanometer granule can
be industrialized . To put and steady silver(Ag+)into
microporousness on surface of nonometer granule can get carrying
silver nanometer material which has bacteria resistance property
and to put this material into plastic can make the plastic
material that has some good property as bacteria resistance
, mildew resistance and selfleaning etc . and it can become
green environmental protection product . Now this technique
has been applied in ABS,SPVC,HIPS,PP etc.
Nanometer plastic is a sort of new
material in high technology,it has bright development prospects.Many
manufacturer begin to produce nanometer plastic in a situation
that not complete quality guarantee systm and production management
and also they are lacking in knowledge of this new material
. That will engender danger that nanometer plastic comes to
a premature end . So we hope the government concerned can
make a complete standard and rules to protect the development
of this new material.
